this may seem like a stupid comment but i’ve heard several well grounded and informed parents say it to their children: “Don’t lick my ipad”
little ones slobb all over everything and it’s usual for stuff to go right in their mouth – it’s a healthy part of discovery! But not when there is a battery involved. (plus i’m pretty sure drool is considered a form of water damage)

we add glow sticks to our childs costume and candy bag which is a “fancy” way to add light and visibitly to her costume. Anything that glows is a plus!

i know a lot of little boys (and girls) that are climbers. i think it’s important to be open and honest about your children’s tendencies — weather or not it’s offensive to the other party involved. If you disclose your childs ways and habits it will be a preventive measure for safetey and care. For example: my child likes to climb, my child shoves too much food in his mouth, my child leans agaisnt windows, my child can open doors .. in my case, Our daughter loves to play hide and seek — but forgets to tell other people she’s playing. Your childs saftey is number one, and i’m sure the other watching parents will appriciate the heads up!

NickJr.com has a lot of games and activites for younger kids that are advertisement free and cannot be interrupted by IM’s and other active members. My daughter LOVES to play my facebook games like Farmville and GnomeTown, but it was simply not a ’safe place’ for her to play unless i was watching her. Our compromise was her playing her own set of games on NickJr.com, age approprite and uninterrupted.
