It’s what some “other parents think”.

Some parents take their kids hunting. Some put them on football teams. Some sign them up for gymnastics. Some prop them up in front of tv’s and computers. Some parents spend no time at all with their kids.

I’m not sure what kind of “thoughts” you are seeking here, but my guess is you’re looking for something many of us are not going to view in a favorable light.

I say that simply because:

A) you’re a lawyer
B) you admit to knowing nothing about the book
C) you admit to knowing nothing about motorcycles
D) you then, obviously, know nothing about racing

Great
Motorcycles and kids are great together
It’s family, it’s hand eye co ordination, it’s fitness, it’s responsibility
Make sure the kid’s are wearing gear and teach them properly and they will have a hobby and/or career they can do for their whole life
It’s a great lifestyle full of interesting people

That is my son in that consumerist article. My Brother bought the toy, along with my Mom for my son. I have recently searched for more online complaints, and they are continuing to pile up. I can send you some complaints I’ve found after ours was reported.

Keep in mind, it is a small percentage that actually ever complain, how many more of these are out there?

I’ve always considered myself pretty comfortable around animals. I’ve owned dogs, cats, a lamb, a squirrel and donkeys-not all at the same time. I’ve also been bitten by a dog while riding my bike and thrown off a horse. (I got back on.) But this list of safety tips around dogs is really useful. This is the first time I’ve seen the advice not to look strange dogs in the eye and the roll in a ball technique. Makes sense. Very nice and informative blog. I’ll pass these on to my favorite 6 year old. Thanks, Mary Lynn
