Study Shows that Family Stress Affects Recovery of Brain Injured Children

According to the American Psychological Association, a recent study showed that family problems affect the recovery of brain injured children.  According to the  study, children with brain injuries that come from struggling families are more likely to experience ongoing problems throughout life.  A stable family with a secure income is more able to support their child with traumatic brain injury and gives them a stronger chance of improvements.
