After a child has been injured, parents can find themselves at a loss for how to help their child recover. AfterTheInjury.org is a website of The Center for Injury Research and Prevention at The Children’s Hospital of Philadelphia. It was created to help parents understand their child’s reactions to injury and learn what they can do to help their child react in a healthy way. It includes tip sheets, videos and planning guides to help families immediately after an injury and, if needed, months later.

The researchers are asking their colleagues in pediatric trauma care to spread the word about the site.
